April 2017 I read http://theheartysoul.com/turmeric-fights-inflammation-heres-much-take-often-best-results/ and discovered I was only taking 900 mg in a day when I really needed to take 1800 mg a day. When I increased to 6 tablets from 3 I certainly felt the wow difference in my old over worked knees.
And then this story popped up http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-4726136/How-curry-spice-helped-dying-woman-beat-cancer.html This story about Dieneke Ferguson made me see that I needed to take a minimum of 2 tsps daily.
Reading these two stories on healing yeast and cancer and the brain have given me more of an understanding on the benefits of turmeric. http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/how-whole-turmeric-heals-damaged-brain-1 http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/yeast-cause-cancer-and-turmeric-can-kill-both-research-confirms
Turmeric is a super spice that I really do not like the taste of, so I take it in capsules. Lately I have been hiding it, not really possible, in my morning smoothie with bananas and berries. I know I will figure out a better way to hide the taste. New ideas are already out there. I just need to find them.
