Support Your Immune System By Keeping Your Ears Cleaned With 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
To stay healthy it is recommended by some doctors to clean your ears with peroxide once a month.
This is how to do the ear cleaning.
1.Fill a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide.
2.Lay on your side.
3.Squeeze the cotton ball to place three or more drops into the ear. The bubbling starts right away.
4.Lay still on your side for fifteen minutes.
5.When the time is done place a clean dry cotton ball on the ear for the liquid and released wax to drain out.
6.Roll to the other side to allow the draining to be successful and now work on the other ear.
7.Squeeze a hydrogen peroxide filled cotton ball to release three or more drops into the other ear.
8.Fifteen minutes later place a clean dry cotton ball on that ear and roll over to let it drain.
It is recommended by some doctors to do the hydrogen peroxide method of ear cleaning whenever you are starting to feel sick or starting to feel sinus pressure.
I did have a moment last month when I was experiencing the start of a little sinus pressure. I cleaned my ears with hydrogen peroxide right away even though I had just done a hydrogen peroxide cleaning the week before. And yes it did take care of what ever it was that was starting.
I think why this works when you are sick or getting sick is that the natural pressure balance is off when the ears are clogged with even the smallest amount of wax. This results in the sinus cavities to not be able to drain properly and allows the sinus and ears to hold what ever germ, bacteria or virus that has found a way into the body to ferment, fester, grow and try to take hold and develop into a nasty cold or sinus infection.
Like many seniors, G sleeps rather still most nights. Rolling around when sleeping will give equal time to both sides of the body, but no one really does that consistantly every night. One ear will get more of a wax build up from too many nights of not being able to drain.
The first time we did the cleaning it was a bad buildup of wax. We did three cleanings with hydrogen peroxide to the same ear with fifteen minutes of time between applications to allow the ear to drain. We can tell it needs another application when the cotton ball that was receiving the drainage is very full/covered with coloured ear wax. When we finished the cleanings, hearing was better and at first many sounds were reported as being annoyingly loud.
Be Healthy. Stay Healthy. Massage and clean your ears.
