You can get that deeper connection that creates a bendable deeply rooted tree instead of a boulder that gets worn down and broken with the drips of moisture that creeps into the crevices and freezes and expands and cracks the body. You will need to practice several times a day, eight to ten would be good. Practise everyday so that the breathing technique is apart of your person. And yes you can get the same results if you are actually touching the earth or if you are several stories up from the earth.
Step One. Getting connected. Sit with your bare feet flat to the floor. Rub your feet on the floor and feel that connection to the earth. Visualize and feel the open connection lifting up to the heavens as you rub the top of the head with your finger tips.
Step Two. Breathing while sitting. Chest open and hands resting comfortably with palms facing up on your lap, backs of hands touching the leg. Back straight and relaxed. Breathe a large slow and deep even breath in the nose to fill the throat, the lungs, the abdomen and beyond to the whole body. Breathe out the nose and feel the breath pushing out the bottom of the feet to support the root connection to the earth and the connection out the top of the head to the heavens.
The breath should be large enough to fill your throat. If you were a cat you would be purring. Feel the breath relax the whole body. If your jaw is not relaxed stretch it out by opening and closing it wide and feel the calm. If you need to stretch out an arm or a leg or roll the shoulders. Focus with each breath to invite the peaceful feeling into every part of your body. Feel the breath create the space around you to be peaceful and calm. Feel that space you are breathing into grow bigger creating peace and calm for the people in your space.
This healing calming breath creates a boundary of change to the atmosphere of where you are and will effect the people around you for the better. And most importantly not allow you to be assaulted by the wind and the atmospheric pressure changes.
If you are interested in taking the Healing From The Core course program that gave me freedom from the wind, it does come to Canada twice a year. Or give me a call and we can go over this technique together.

Music with a slow repeating in and out breath-feel can be helpful. Try breathing with this calming music from Yellow Brick Cinema https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LXhPbmoHmU
Be healthy. Stay healthy. Massage and breathe in grounding.
