As therapeutic massage therapists we work with less than fifteen minutes between patients to clean and strip a table and set it for the next person and wash and have a drink of water and move the laundry and fold the laundry and dance and stretch and....all the movements we manage between all those other moments that include charting.
It is interesting to work with this brief mandatory moment to sit and type and click quickly on a chart that is never lost or hiding in plain sight. I think we may possibly be more efficient with charting but I do have fond memories of the steps back to reception with a chart and pen in hand and how those steps felt very productive as I would pace the walk with the writing.
Be Healthy. Stay Healthy. Massage.
