The search was first just a few hours of looking up mudras. There was nothing that matched my hand positions. And then a day later I found an article on Spok and the V. The V comes from a Jewish blessing symbol and is often found on gravestones. This felt like an incomplete answer. The article did refer to a book, Sign Language of the Soul A Handbook for Healing (c)2003,2008, by Dr. Dale H Schusterman, D.C.,DIBAK. I then found and had a look at his website, http://www.signlanguageofthesoul.com and now the information feels more complete. Dr. Dale had a similar experience to myself with the mudra just happening and a dramatic effect occurring. He pieced it together faster than myself due to his Jewish background.
My new found favourite mudra, the V, is a blessing that opens the heart. Dr Schusterman came up with a system to help ourself and others in a very simple way. Dr Schusterman's method is considered a cutting edge of science and spirituality based on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, the chakras, and the fundamental patterns of life.
The video shows a quick protocol of hand positions to open the movement of energy to heal. Do have in your mind the healing that needs to take place when you open up the points. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6jbZZSlEEI
If you want the book it is available as a free download from his website.

The picture of the tree of life with the mudras, page iv in the introduction of the book, is good to look at after you have opened the four points. Your body will take in what it needs. http://www.signlanguageofthesoul.com/index.html
This is not the first chiropractor to have an experience that lead to writing a book and teaching a unique energy based healing practise. Dr. Richard Bartlett, D.C., N.D., discovered a practise from an experience he had in 1997. Dr. Bartlett published his first book, Matrix Energetics, in 2007 and has gone on to teach, The Science and Art of Transformation world wide. http://www.matrixenergetics.com
While making this article and creating the slide show I had a thought that I sould try an experiment. I first placed an intention of a healing purpose to my body and then focused on watching the hands and breathing with the slide show that is moving at 5 seconds per slide. Breathing in with the first mudra and touching the points of the atlas (divot at base of skull), brow (third eye), heart (centre of sternum) and tan-tien (just below belly button). This felt like a meditation dance of movement with focused intention and rhythmic breathing.
Follow along and repeat several times to open the current of energy in the body that will activate deeper correction and inner balance. I think it works. I burped. What do you feel?
